The idea behind the series was to portray the passion an athlete has for the sport no matter where they are. They are alone in the urban settings of the city of Oulu, Finland, in their everyday clothes, when suddenly the athlete part of themselves takes control. The models are athletes from many different sports all from Oulu as well. Passion is a feeling that we all enjoy. It was the sole motivator to this project. This is my first photography series, but surely not last.
Urheilijat Kaupungilla
Idea kuvasarjan takana on näyttää urheilijoiden intohimoa. Oululaiset urheilijat urheilevat lajissaan Oulun keskustassa kaupunkivaatteissa, kuin heidän sisäinen urheilijansa olisi herännyt kesken kaiken.
Intohimo on tunne josta me kaikki nautimme. Se oli tämän projektin tekemisen suurin motivoija ja aloitti jatkuvan halun vastaavanlaisiin projekteihin.
